Our Programs
-
Passport
Life Skills Training
The Passport Program equips youth with essential life skills to support self-awareness, interpersonal growth, and critical thinking. Participants gain the tools to navigate life’s challenges in a safe, supportive environment. By fostering personal development, the program empowers youth to positively impact their families, peers, and communities. We named it Passport because, like a passport guides travel, this program guides youth through the soft skills needed for life.
-
Umbrella
Youth Advocacy Fellowship
The Umbrella Youth Advocacy Fellowship, powered by PUSHH, trains youth to become community organizers through the Participatory Defense Hub model. Fellows learn to advocate for themselves and others, support families navigating the justice system, and lead campaigns addressing systemic inequities. Just as an umbrella protects from the rain, this program provides youth and families with support and guidance until they reach their goals. Participants graduate as trained organizers ready to expand the Umbrella model and drive lasting change in their communities.
-
Strength
Community Organizer Fellowship
The Strength Program empowers youth to take courageous action by resolving conflict and reducing violence in their communities. Participants gain skills in conflict resolution, trauma-informed response, peer mentorship, and community engagement. We named it Strength because it takes true courage to step in, de-escalate tense situations, and create positive change. Youth build confidence, leadership, and agency while making their communities safer and stronger.
-
Hope
Healing Fellowship
The Hope Program was created to help youth learn healing techniques celebrated in the peer support model. It helps participants recognize the connection between emotional stress and physical health, identify patterns and beliefs that contribute to tension, and develop skills to improve relationships and overall well-being. Through a combination of lived experience and evidence-based strategies, youth learn to support themselves and others, foster safe spaces, and lead with empathy. The program empowers participants to become mental health advocates, peer supporters, and change agents in their schools and communities.

Hands
Healing Circles & Support Groups
The Hands Program provides youth-led healing circles and support groups designed to foster connection, compassion, and personal growth. Participants create safe, supportive spaces where they can share experiences, reflect, and build resilience together. Guided by peer leadership, these groups encourage empathy, active listening, and mutual support, empowering youth to lead with care and make a positive impact in their communities.
